I came across an interesting concept at a conference today: what if food labelling had to include not just the ingredients, but also the nutrient density of what we’re eating? Would it change the way we shop?

A carrot from an industrial farm is not equal to an organic carrot—nutritionally or otherwise. Yet, we often miss out on the benefits of nutrient-dense whole foods, replacing them with ultra-processed options masked by convenience. It’s a thought-provoking idea that challenges how we value and choose our food. Curious to hear what others think about this!
